Noble
Saw Noble this morning at my boys football club in Shenfield. Very nice guy, posed for a few pictures for people and was fairly chatty. Made me realise what a shame it was that he wasn't away with the national team.
Personally I don't think he is good enough but he is an honest pro, a West Ham boy and gives his all for us.
Good for us but we are his limit!!

Re: Noble
I think that the game being slower at international level would suit him to be honest.

I'd never thought of that but it isn't a bad point.

Re: Noble
If shit like smalling, cleverly and Delph can get in the England team then Noble should be in it aswell.
It's total Bollocks that he has been overlooked in my opinion as on his day he is good enough.
If he played for man utd or Liverpool he wouldnt be a different player and his game wouldn't have changed but you can guarantee he would have had 15-20 caps by now.

Re: Noble
If Noble played for someone else he would be in the 'shit' bracket that Cleverly and Delph are in.

Re: Noble
Tomkins is better than smalling

As for noble, well Delph, Osman, cleverly all have caps and I don't see noble as any worse than them. I also don't get why there is any praise for Henderson - he's just average.

It's not that I think noble is a glaring omission who would transform the squad, I just don't get why he's not considered at all

Re: Noble
Wouldn't get in over Henderson, who is much more of a threat at set pieces...

Re: Noble
Connelly it's better to be in that "shit" bracket as that what Hodgson loves.

Don't think he's international class, but as has been said nor is a lot of the other shit that gets picked so he should at lest have had a sniff.

Re: Noble
A few years ago he wouldn't of been good enough but with the likes of cleverly Delph osman Henderson and even carrick who got in this squad despite shownig no form for over 18months it's a travesty he hasn't had a cap
Tbf his for this season hasn't been great he's done ok but not been up to the standards of the last few seasons
Born leader and great to see him captaining the team when we're playing so well

Played for and captained England at every level from schoolboy to U21 but never made the next step up. I think it's a shame, but then I'm biased.

I've took my rose coloured glasses off and sorry, but he's not good enough!

Re: Noble
Not good enough for an all time England 11, but good enough to at least haver a try out when considering some of the inexperienced players that are getting a chance these days.
